Glastonbury's Mark Landers and Wethersfield's Rob Jachym talk about the Glastonbury/Wethersfield boys soccer rivalry before their September 27th CCC clash. Glastonbury prevailed 5-1 to lift their record to 5-1-0.  Wethersfield dropped to 4-1-1 with the defeat.

The leaves are beginning to turn.  The morning rain was the first beneficial moisture in weeks.  The crisp smell of fall is in the air.  This is high school soccer season in Connecticut.  Tuesday, September 27th was a beautiful day to be a spectator....

Last spring, I was surprised to see one high school junior among the crowd of returnees at our here’s-what-you-need-to-know-for-next fall meeting. For the past three years, he’d played for a US Soccer Development Academy team.
